WHO AM I?

I'm Bee. In a previous life I was an audio typist, working for a tour operator specialising in 'once in a lifetime' holidays to Africa and South America. I then moved to London and hung up my headset & foot pedal to provide administration support to TV company's in-house legal team, and thought no more about audio typing.

That was until a friend of mine needed a couple of interviews transcribing for a programme she was working on. It was 2012 and I was on maternity leave. I jumped at the chance. This was an opportunity to help out a friend, earn a little money and 'geek out' at a science programme. What I didn't bargain on was the rekindling of my love for transcribing.

Returning to work part time, I also decided it would be an idea to start my own business and so I did. And here I am, providing freelance transcription & post-production script services.

I am based in East London, working from home for part of the week, and the other part is spent over in NW6 supporting the in-house legal function at a TV company.

WHAT DO I DO?

I work with television production companies, providing pre-edit logging, transcription and post-production script services. I work closely with each client to establish what they need in the finished document.
